| A short drive from Auckland this is New Zealand's favorite destination. There are rain forrests on one side and white sandy beaches that seem to stretch endless on to the horizon. There are a range of things to do from a sea kayak to a all day trek alone this unforgetable coast. Captain Cook once explored the region and made his mark on Mercury Beach where I took the image above and many more images as well. The Pacific Coast Highway may have Carmel but New Zealand has the Coromandel.
